I’d like to spread the word about /r/compmathneuro, a subreddit dedicated to computational and mathematical neuroscience, and its associated discord. We’re a small but relatively active community of researchers whose expertise ranges from undergrads to postdocs. We recently created a discord in preparation for the monthly journal clubs we’re planning to start soon, where participants are encouraged to contribute papers they’d like to discuss with others in VC. Anyone is welcome to join both the subreddit (https://reddit.com/r/compmathneuro) and the discord (https://discord.gg/aFVEW2N), but please note that we’d like to uphold our current content standards and thus largely object to pop sci articles and TED-esque videos. Curious laymen are nonetheless welcome, of course.
