[D] Using Siamese tracker for one-shot object detection

I am working with Siamese Nets for one-shot classification problems. Recently I have come across similar problem coupled with a detection task. The recent RepMet paper addresses this issue. However I have just discovered that some SOTA tacking algorithms actually do use Siamese architecture for learning a deep template matching. Has anyone already tried these strategy for few-shot object detection?
